Welcome to ESIK Alpina - the downhill skiing club at Ericsson Stockholm
Dear alpine ski-lovers, welcome to the Alpina page!
During the ski season the Alpina team arranges several weekend ski trips to skiing destinations within Sweden and Norway.
The trips are provided to an affordable price with transport, accommodation, and ski school for adults included. Skiing equipment can be rented at each destination. The trips typically start on Thursday afternoon with return to Stockholm on Sunday late evening and we travel either by bus or train depending on destination. Registration for our trips typically opens 4-6 weeks before the trips.
To receive upcoming newsletters, registration information for our upcoming ski trips and price discounts, make sure to register your ESIK membership and mark Alpina Skiing Downhill in Benify Ericsson for Me Sports Clubs. Discounts are given only for ESIK members and checked before each trip. To only receive our newsletters, you can subscribe here.
The Wellness contribution (Friskvårdsbidraget) can be used for our ski trips. Receipts to be submitted to Benify will be sent after each ski trip.

Welcome to season 2025-2026 with Alpina!
The ski season is around the corner and in ESIK Alpina we are looking forward to an exciting season! The season will kick off with a trip to Trysil in Norway in December. In January we will explore Kläppen in Sälen mountains and classic destinations like Vemdalen in March and Åre and Tänndalen in April are also coming up so stay tuned!

Season schedule 2025-2026
Trysil, December 11-14
Trysil comprises four interconnected ski areas, all with their own unique characteristics. From black slopes in Høgegga to the red, blue and green slopes at Skihytta, Turistsenter and Høyfjellssenter - Trysil has something to offer for skiers of all levels! For this trip we will meet up with ski enthusiast colleagues from Gothenburg!
Kläppen Sälen, January 15-18
Kläppen in Sälen provides a combo of great skiing and snow, offers varied skiing for all skiers and is an ideal destination for beginners. The Gondol takes you all the way from the valley to the top of the mountain.
Vemdalen, March 12-15
Our most popular trip year after year is the trip to Vemdalsskalet. Vemdalsskalet spans over two mountains and offer a wide variety of skiing with a bit more challenging slopes on Hovde while Skalsfjället is a carving paradise. After a full day in the slopes, make sure not to miss the after ski!
Åre, March 26-29
Åre is Sweden's alpine capital and Scandinavia's largest ski resort. Åre offers a unique combination of skiing and entertainment in northern Europe's coziest and trendiest mountain village with 42 ski lifts and 89 slopes, and 890 meters vertical drop from top to bottom. We will stay in the middle of the village, close to shopping, a large selection restaurants and extensive nightlife.
Tänndalen, April 16 - 19
Tänndalen is a carving paradise and provides great skiing conditions the whole season, in a normal season it falls 5 meters of snow! Enjoy the carving in one of many nice carving slopes or just enjoy a cold beer in the warm spring sun.
