Latest update
As of today June 17th 174 people are registered for the Summer Games. I would really love to see more females join us. This is a fanstastic opportunity to spend a weekend in the good company of colleagues and friends. So please, if you haven't considered this yet, please do so. 12 days left, but just bumping this up.
People affected by changes is Sweden, this does not affect registration and all are welcome to join us.
Have a great Midsummer and hope to see so many of you as possible in Katrineholm in September!
BR
Dominic
You are hereby cordially invited to join your colleagues at the 8th Ericsson Summer Games (previously Eriaden). We have had 8 long years of waiting, but the waiting is over. So between Friday 18th and Sunday the 20th of September we will be in Katrineholm, Duveholmshallen and nearby venues to compete and enjoy summer sports, and crown Ericsson champions in classes for men and women 21, 40, 50, 60 and an open class. Competition day is the 19th of September.
All information can be found here:
Ericsson Summer Games 2026 (note that this is not SSO and you use your LDAP and signum to register.
For pensioners or anyone without Ericsson credentials, you will be able to register by emailing me. I will be reaching out to our pensioners and EIF honorary members separately. At this point we are seeking registrations and when we are sure of the numbers we will send out payment info. It is likely to be around 1000 SEK, but we think less. This is 2 hotel nights, two dinners, one lunch and 2 breakfasts, travel and all activities. I hope you agree this is fantastic and Ericsson has sponsored the event generously.
See you all in Katrineholm in September!!!
If you have any questions, you are welcome to reach out to Dominic McAleenan or any other member of the ESIK board.
Welcome!
Dominic McAleenan on behalf of the EIF board

Hope people are seeing this. Please share and I'd love to see more females register. Remember there is a class for participating for fun, not everything is about competing, it's also taking part.

No chess competition? Just a speed chess tournament would be nice.

We cannot add sports to a games already planned and in exectution. Only sports agreed to at the previous annual meeting and through a supported motion can be brought in. So please propose to ESIK and we take that in the 2027 meeting. We have 11 sports at the minute.
