This Wednesday the blue team faced Turkiska FC. The team aimed to make some amends after the disappointing loss last week. 
Turkiska FC appeared to be a strong opponent with technically skilled players who constantly moved and traded quick and short passes. Nevertheless, the blue team embraced that challenge, started the game with smart positioning, defended well and managed to take the lead with a shot from the distance by Marcus. Turkiska FC struck back brutally and turned the match around: 1:4. 

Despite this setback, the blue team demonstrated a great attitude, refused to give up and earned the well deserved reward. Showing a great fighting spirit in the defense and a high efficiency in the offense, the team managed to a come back and achieve a draw with goals from Rami, Gustaf and Pavel: 4:4. Let’s continue the season like this!

The Blue Team has had mixed results in its last two matches.

In the first game, we faced BK Långburk. Last year, we lost to them twice, but this time, despite a rough start, the team pulled together, improved its organization, and secured a hard-fought 2–1 victory.

The second game, however, turned out to be very disappointing. It was our first time playing against Certo Cito. Based on their first two matches, they seemed like a relatively easy opponent. The start of the game confirmed that we confidently controlled the play and scored two goals.

But after halftime, we lost our focus and made some silly mistakes, which allowed the opponent to equalize. In the final minutes, the referee made a questionable decision: he overlooked a foul by the opposing team but called one against us and awarded a penalty.

Of course, that's not an excuse — in the end, we mostly lose to ourselves rather than to the opponent. In the next game, we'll aim to fix our mindset, and in the second-round match against Certo Cito, we must secure the win.

ESIK Football teams start their journey in the Korpen 2025 league.

Outdoor trainings are back, together with Korpen league in May.

This year, due to a high demand of games with an increased number of players during the past months, the section has created 2 teams to play Korpen Game series. A new team has joined Korpen 7-Fotboll Företagsserie on top of the already existent team playing Korpen 3rd Division.

We wish both teams success and fun this year.

The Korpen series has just started with a couple of games full of new experiences for the so-called new red team, we are sure you will know each other better after each game while having fun!
